Behind every great pub is a good concept, the idea of bringing a little piece of Ireland to Aarhus, is well just too simple and also too overdone. We thought we would re-write the book on irish pubs.

Let's make somewhere that has a true Irish feel, but let's add a little of our homegrown beauty in Denmark. Add lots of young people a large helping of local expats (Sexual Refugees as they are more commonly known) and a great entertainment venue; that gives us a good start in being the pub we know you want.

So the concept becomes " Tir Na Nog - The bar of eternal youth"

Tír na nÓg is the fabled island off the west coast of Ireland "The land of perpetual youth" where the Tuatha de Danann (the Sidhe) resided. Time stopped still on Tír na nÓg, You never grew old or suffered from any illness, it was always of a temperate climate neither too hot nor too cold.

So what does "Tir Na Nog" actually mean?
Now as far as eternal youth goes we cant promise anything, what we can promise you however is a warm welcome and a great night out.

The local woman who come to the Nog (Scandinavians) make you feel (if you are a lad)  like you are in heaven and as some of the local expat lads will tell you if they managed to get their wicked ways - it's a night not to be forgotten
Scandinavian ladies & the best looking barmen in town!
Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays - always good...
All this talk making you thirsty?

The fountain of youth is tapped with some of the finest beers from in and out of Ireland, and well our Guinness is the best in town. I mean, if you dont believe it then come and try for yourself
So what's on the menu then?

The best place to start is the online menu, but be aware that there is a lot more choice when you come straight to the bar, have a wee look and get those tastebuds waterin'!
Take me to my beer now !
